Silk Road Metallic Poetry
We designed a shadow theatre show for our Entertainment Project Services and Royal Caribbean client accounts, centering on the old “Silk Road”. This performance successfully united the performing arts and hi-tech on the “Empress of the Sea” vessel.
A wire sculpture designed by Elizabeth Berrien is set in a world of laser cut-outs and a choir of silk spheres. The lighting program, rotating platforms, motors and reflectors rounded out this poetic composition, providing a taste of the adventure along this road connecting East to West.
