Bernard Duguay

Founder, producer and designer

Bernard is a happy blend of rigour and creativity.

His career has taken him to positions as director, artistic director and set designer for numerous cultural, museum and corporate events.

In 2000, he founded the multimedia production company Lucion Média, a studio that quickly became a source of inspiration and a creative hub for many new media artists and directors.

His sensibility: integrating artisans capable of producing works of high artistic value.
His signature: a gentle blend of poetry and technology.

Juliette Van Gaalen

Project Manager

Juliette discovered the world of digital creation in Lyon in 2015. After completing a BAC in Communication and Digital Creation and a period of civic service at GRAME, the national centre for musical creation, Juliette went on to do a Master’s degree in Digital Creation at UQAT, the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue.

Sensitive to the artistic value of digital technology, the strong links between it and its audience, and multi-disciplinary creative expression, Juliette joined the Lucion en 2022 team as a project manager, taking part in the realisation and production of creative experiences.

Julie Guénnéguès

Production Manager

Having been immersed in the arts since childhood, it was only natural that Julie should first study circus arts and then applied arts before turning to the performing arts. In 2014, she joined the University of Rennes II in Performing Arts, where she undertook a double bachelor’s degree in theatre and film. Keen to continue her apprenticeship abroad, she left France for Canada and trained in stage management and technique at the École de Théâtre Professionnelle du Collège Lionel-Groulx. After graduating, Julie worked with a number of companies as production manager, tour manager and technical director.

Maxime Giraudeau

Interactive programmer & motion designer

Maxime joined the Lucion team in March 2023. A graduate in multimedia from the École supérieure d’ingénieurs en technologies du numérique (ESIEE, Paris), he enriched his career with a year’s master’s in digital creation at UQAT in Abitibi-Témiscamingue.

With his diverse expertise, he is fully committed to every stage of the creative process, encompassing a wide range of skills, from 3D and 2D production to interactive programming.

His ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and software is one of his major assets.

Kerwin Jackson

Business developer manager

After completing a certificate in marketing at Concordia University, Kerwin went into film as an actor and member of the production team for the documentaries Yellow Fellas (2005) and Black Watch (2007).

He then became a business developer based in Montreal for the whole of Canada and the United States for companies such as Energy Retail and Garmen Laboratories. Since 2012, with his company, Manu Marketing, he has been developing co-productions for various corporate events with multimedia companies such as Lucion.

Claude Gagnon

Head of Administration

Claude Gagnon, with over 20 years’ experience in project management, administration and training planning, is responsible for Lucion’s corporate administration, managing relations with funders and government applications.

She played a key role in the organisation of the ‘Soon on our screens’ conference and the ‘Virtual reality market’ in Montreal as delegate producer. Previously, she directed the annual planning of 32 training activities and the funding of specific projects at the Regroupement pour la formation en audiovisuel du Québec.

Benjamin Broche

2D & 3D motion designer

Benjamin’s studies at the School of Art and Design in Saint Étienne (France) gave him the opportunity to work on a wide range of media and projects, including screen printing, sculpture, pinhole photography, engraving and painting. These experiences, combined with his self-taught spirit, always lead to original ideas.

He moved to Montreal in 2013, starting out at Normal Studio and developing his sensitivity to movement, before moving on to Lucion Media as a freelancer working on a number of mapping projects.

Sebbe Jolly

Multimedia producer

Sébastien has been working as a multimedia director at Lucion for 9 years now.

With over 15 years’ experience, he is involved in every stage of the creative process, drawing on a wide range of skills from editing to motion design and video mapping.

Juliette Sarrazin

Environment designer

Juliette has a passion for visual arts and crafts, and specialised in presentation design at Cégep du Vieux Montréal. After graduating in 2015, she set up her own business and worked freelance with Montreal studios such as Robocut, DGL signature and Lucion Média, taking part in projects for Cirque du Soleil, Quartier des spectacles, Google and Adidas, among others.

Juliette honed her skills in project management and fabrication, designing sets for interactive installations, events, shows, museums, restaurants, galas and film shoots. She now works as a set designer, from artistic direction to fabrication.

Jean-Marie Saint-Georges

Technical Director

Jean Marie started at Lambert Multimedia in Montreal in 1970 as an audiovisual technician. He specialised in corporate staging for events and technical installations for museums in Canada and abroad.
Versatile, he also worked on video projection for theatrical shows and church sound systems, even building his own sound boxes.

In 2000, he joined Lucion Media, where he oversaw the technical aspects of the moonGARDEN and Exposure light installations.

André Bazinet

Artistic Director

André Bazinet, trained in graphic design, has directed numerous artistic projects, including the creation of presentation materials, graphic murals, interpretation boards… for various companies.
Since 2014, he has collaborated with Lucion on a number of projects.

His company, André Bazinet Design Multimédia, has been operating in the creative field since 2008.

David Brodeur

Composer

David Brodeur studied arranging and guitar at Cégep St Laurent, then writing, composition and electro-acoustics at Université de Montréal. His career began in pubs and theatres, playing and composing for various musical groups for several years.
In recent years, he has specialised in composing and producing music and sound effects for museography and large-scale events, using video mapping, immersive light installations and other formats.
