MOONGARDEN @ DISCOVERY GREEN AND AVENIDA
22 spheres, 18 shadow theatres, 3 Exposures – an installation sized for the Texas !
moonGARDEN transformed this mega park into a dreamy, supernatural space. Huge spheres became surfaces for telling stories about moments in the history of Houston and the Discovery Green park.
We wanted visitors to learn about their city and their park, but we also wanted to offer them something new and magical. The installation was an opportunity for them to dream while wandering through the spheres.
Each group of spheres tells a part of the story, while three EXPosure applications were also featured in the experience.
moonGARDEN @ Discovery Green and Avenida Houston was the second largest moonGARDEN installation ever with 22 spheres. The largest was erected in Montreal in 2012, counting 25 spheres.
